Uttarakhand Backpacking trip - Nainital, Jim Corbett, Rishikesh & Mussoorie

Day 1 – November 25: Delhi Airport to Nainital

Overnight Stay: Nainital

• Arrive at Delhi Airport by Early morning 5-6 AM, where our representative will meet you for your transfer to Nainital, one of Uttarakhand's most popular hill stations.
• Enjoy the scenic journey through the foothills and mountain roads as you make your way towards the beautiful lake district of Kumaon.
• On arrival, check in to your hotel and relax after the journey. Depending on your arrival time, you may explore the nearby market or enjoy a peaceful evening around Naini Lake.
• Dinner and overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 2 – November 26: Nainital Sightseeing

Overnight Stay: Nainital

• After breakfast, set out to explore the natural beauty and popular attractions of Nainital.
• Visit the picturesque Naini Lake, admire the architecture of Naina Devi Temple, and explore the bustling Mall Road for shopping and local food.
• Depending on time and local conditions, your sightseeing may also include viewpoints such as Snow View Point, Nainital Zoo, or other nearby attractions.
• Enjoy the cool mountain atmosphere and beautiful lake views before returning to your hotel.
• Dinner and overnight stay in Nainital.

Day 3 – November 27: Nainital to Jim Corbett National Park

Overnight Stay: Jim Corbett

• After breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed towards Jim Corbett, one of India's best-known wildlife destinations.
• Enjoy the scenic drive through the Kumaon region and arrive at your accommodation near the Corbett landscape.
• Spend the rest of the day relaxing or exploring nearby areas, depending on your arrival time and the location of your stay.
• Prepare for the next day's early-morning wildlife safari.
• Dinner and overnight stay near Jim Corbett National Park.

Day 4 – November 28: Jim Corbett Morning Safari to Rishikesh

Overnight Stay: Rishikesh

• Start your day early with a morning jeep safari in Jim Corbett National Park, subject to confirmed safari permits, zone availability and forest department regulations.
• Explore the forest landscape and keep an eye out for wildlife, including deer, elephants and a variety of bird species. Tiger sightings are possible but cannot be guaranteed.
• After the safari, return to your accommodation, have breakfast and check out before travelling to Rishikesh.
• On arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening in this spiritual town on the banks of the River Ganga.
• Dinner and overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 5 – November 29: Rishikesh White-Water Rafting & Ganga Aarti

Overnight Stay: Rishikesh

• After breakfast, get ready to experience the adventurous side of Rishikesh with an exciting white-water rafting session, subject to river conditions, permitted rafting stretches, operator availability and local safety regulations.
• Enjoy the beautiful Himalayan foothills and the thrill of navigating the river rapids with an authorised rafting operator.
• Later, explore the popular areas of Rishikesh, including Ram Jhula and the surrounding riverside attractions, depending on available time.
• In the evening, witness the spiritually uplifting Ganga Aarti on the banks of the River Ganga, an unforgettable experience filled with devotional chants, lamps and a peaceful atmosphere.
• Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6 – November 30: Rishikesh to Mussoorie Sightseeing

• Explore popular attractions such as Mall Road, Gun Hill viewpoint, and the famous Kempty Falls, subject to available time, traffic and local access conditions.
• Take in the refreshing mountain air and enjoy the beautiful surroundings before checking in to your hotel.
• Dinner and overnight stay in Mussoorie.

Day 7 – December 1: Mussoorie & Landour Excursion

Overnight Stay: Mussoorie

• After breakfast, spend the day exploring Mussoorie and the quieter neighbouring hill area of Landour.
• Discover the scenic beauty of Landour, known for its peaceful roads, old colonial-era buildings, mountain views and relaxed atmosphere.
• Explore the popular Char Dukan area and enjoy time at local cafés, subject to opening hours and your sightseeing schedule.
• Return to Mussoorie to enjoy the evening at leisure. You can explore Mall Road, shop for souvenirs or simply enjoy the cool mountain weather.
• Dinner and overnight stay in Mussoorie.

Day 8 – December 2: Mussoorie to Delhi Airport – Tour Ends

• After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your journey back to Delhi Airport.
• Enjoy the final views of Uttarakhand's beautiful landscapes as you travel towards Delhi.
• Arrive at Delhi Airport for your onward journey, bringing your memorable 8-day Uttarakhand holiday to an end.

• BAGS: 1 Medium Backpack/1 Medium Trolley Bag – for all clothes and main luggage, 1 Small Day Pack (15–20 L) – for daily sightseeing (water bottle, snacks, camera, essentials, jacket)

Refund & Cancellation

We understand that unexpected changes may occur. However, to maintain clarity for all clients, please review the cancellation guidelines carefully. The booking amount paid at the time of reservation is completely non-refundable under all circumstances.

• Before 45 Days: 50% refund on the booking amount
• 45 – 30 Days: No refund on the booking amount.
• 30 – 20 Days: 25% refund on the total trip cost.
• 20 – 10 Days: 10% refund on the total trip cost.
• After 10 Days: No refund.

1. Cancellation charges are calculated on the total trip cost, not on partial or booking amounts. (Example: If your trip costs ₹25,000 and you paid ₹10,000 as an advance, cancellation within 30 days will still apply on ₹25,000)
2. If the trip is cancelled from our end, a minimum 7% administrative deduction will be applied. The remaining amount will be issued as a credit note redeemable on future trips. Cash refunds will not be provided. (This clause does not apply for cancellations caused by situations beyond our control)
3. Any cancellation or alteration in the trip or specific locations due to natural calamities, sudden weather issues, strikes, government orders, route closures, or any man-made incidents will not be our liability. Any additional expenses arising from such situations must be borne by the client. Our Trip Captain/Coordinator will not accompany the client in these cases, but we will assist in making necessary arrangements.
4. Full payment must be completed 30 days before the trip begins. Pending dues may lead to automatic cancellation without refund.
5. Amounts paid are non-transferable, and no credit notes will be issued unless specifically mentioned. No refund, credit, or transfer will be provided if the itinerary or route is changed for safety or operational reasons.
6. If a client voluntarily quits the trip for personal reasons (fitness, illness, discomfort, or any other reason), no refund or credit will be issued. Any additional expenses due to returning early will be borne solely by the client. Our Trip Captain/Coordinator will not accompany the client, but necessary assistance for arrangements will be provided.
7. If a client is asked to return by the Trip/Trek Coordinator due to low fitness, medical concerns, violation of rules, misbehaviour, harassment, being under heavy influence of substances, or engaging in any prohibited activity, no refund or credit will be issued. Any extra expenses arising from the client being sent back will be fully borne by the client. Our Trip Captain/Coordinator will not accompany the client but will help arrange the required transport.
8. If the entire group must end the trip after commencement due to severe weather, government restrictions, unexpected circumstances, or any uncontrollable event, no refund or voucher will be issued.
9. Extreme Scenarios Clause: Situations such as war, pandemic outbreaks, national emergencies, government-imposed restrictions, or any extreme/uncontrollable circumstances before or during the trip may lead to cancellation. In such cases, no refund or credit voucher will be issued. If a client fails to pay the remaining balance by the due date, the booking may be automatically cancelled without any refund of the booking amount.
